Technical diving has evolved a long way in the last few decades. New techniques, information and dive equipment have now made it possible to conduct dives that where not possible only a few years ago. With these new technologies and equipment proper application within the technical diver training programs is paramount.
Technical diving is scuba diving beyond the limits of recreational diving in terms of depth deeper then recreational limits, breathing gases other then air and decompression diving. Overhead environment diving such as wreck penetration diving and cave diving are part of technical diving and so is CCR Rebreather diving.
